MEET OUR PERFORMANCE COACHES

Meet Denim Rogers, a dynamic professional track and bobsled athlete hailing from Lubbock, Texas. Born into the world of sports, Denim's journey in track and field began at the tender age of 5, fueled by dreams and aspirations of becoming an Olympic athlete.

Currently affiliated with the Texas Tech track and field team, Denim has dedicated years of hard work and perseverance to hone his skills in pursuit of sporting excellence. His commitment to his craft has propelled him into the realm of professional track and bobsled, representing the USA on the international stage.

Beyond the track, Denim finds strength and support in his personal life. Married to his amazing wife, their home is filled with the delightful chaos of a their pets. Denim's journey is a testament to the power of resilience, passion, and the unwavering support of loved ones.

Adopted at the age, Denim is eager to give back to the youth and to collaborate with partners who share his vision and values, he envisions a future where his athletic prowess inspires others and contributes to the broader sporting community.

His pursuit of Olympic glory, has been a constant source of strength, guiding him through life's challenges and shaping the person he is today.

As Denim Rogers continues his journey towards the pinnacle of athletic achievement, he hopes to share his gifts with the individuals he trains. Together, he wants to create a legacy that extends beyond the track, inspiring others to overcome obstacles and reach for their own dreams.

Major is professional decathlete pursuing a degree in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University. Major was a multi-sport athlete in high school with an emphasis in football as an outside linebacker and track and field, specifically in relays.

In his freshman year of high school, he was part of the 4x400 that medaled at the UIL State Competition. After overcoming injuries and, he returned to the State competition his senior year in the 4x100. In college, Major decided to train as a multi and earned a school record for the multi-event athlete to compete at Lubbock Christian University.

He decided to transfer to TTU for academic goals and achievements. In making this decision, it gave him the opportunity to compete as a professional decathlete. Performing as a professional multi has taught him the focus and self-discipline it takes to prepare for ten track and field events at a high level of competition in both the physical and mental facets.

Major has grown up around athletics and nutrition. His mom and dad were both personal trainers. His mom was a head coach for 14 years and his sister, Mady, currently coaches at Shallowater High School. Fitness and nutrition are a life-long passion for Major, and he enjoys coaching and serving others to see results. The body is God’s amazing, intricate creation and Major uses the knowledge he gathers in his engineering classes and marries it with the orchestra of the human body. Functionality and movement are imperative in a life journey of health and wellness. Major hopes to lead and guide individuals to a personal passion of improving self through physical fitness.

Major enjoys studying God’s Word, is consistently a part of a men’s Bible study, and hopes to serve Jesus well.
